WinterForest
WinterForest is a small, intentional cattery focused on raising pedigree Siberian cats with sound temperament, robust health, and a sense of quiet presence. Since 2010, we’ve lived alongside and cared for our first pedigree kitten, eventually getting the opportunity to work at gradually shaping our lines with patience, care, and a deep respect for both the animal and the human relationship that follows.
The name WinterForest comes from the eye colours we work exclusively with—blue ("Winter") and green ("Forest") eyes—both of which reflect the calm, observant nature we value in our cats.
Our graduates come in a variety of traditional and rare colours, including White, Blue, Cream, Seal, Red, Brown, Black/Brown Torbies, Dilute Torbies, and more recently, Solid Blacks, Blues, Calicos, Sunshine ( Corin) and bi-metallics. Regardless of coat or eye colour, what matters most to us is that our kittens grow into confident, affectionate companions.
Our focus has always been on temperament, structure, and health, rather than high volume. All our breeding cats are tested and clear of PKD and HCM, and we pay close attention to allergen levels, especially for homes with mild cat sensitivities. Many of our kittens go on to compete and title in international cat shows, while others simply enjoy a quiet life curled up in homes around the world—from the UK and Singapore, to Australia, Japan, and the United States.
✧ The Mews
Our journal, The Mews, is where we share insights from the cattery, thoughts on responsible breeding, updates on our cats, and guidance for future owners. It’s written for those who want to understand the story behind the kittens—the why, not just the what.
