The WinterForest Difference
Giving Every WinterForest Kitten the Best Start in Life
Welcoming a Siberian kitten is the beginning of a relationship that may last 20 years or more. We believe that journey starts long before you bring your kitten home—with the care, health, and environment in which they are raised.
At WinterForest Siberians, our cats are not raised in kennels or separate breeding facilities. They live alongside us as cherished members of our family in a cage-free, enriched home where they receive constant companionship, socialisation, and individual attention. Protecting this environment is one of the most important responsibilities we have as ethical breeders.
To safeguard the health of our cats and developing litters, we do not offer casual visits to our cattery. Our breeding cats are maintained in a carefully managed environment with comprehensive health screening and remain free from HCM, PKD, FIV, FeLV, FCoV, and external parasites. Limiting unnecessary exposure significantly reduces the risk of introducing infectious diseases during the kittens' most vulnerable stages of life. These diseases are able to survive longer in the air and on surfaces in hot and humid Singapore.
We understand that choosing a Siberian cat breeder is an important decision. That's why we encourage prospective families to get to know us through our website, educational Mews, Instagram community, and the many WinterForest graduates living happily with families around the world. We're also delighted to connect you with our pawrents, who are often our greatest advocates.
When you're ready to take the next step, we invite you to register your interest and begin your WinterForest journey. We'll guide you through our breeding programme, introduce you to upcoming litters and retiring adults, and help you find the Siberian companion that's truly right for your family.
A WinterForest Graduate Makes a House a Home
There is something truly special about welcoming a Siberian into your life. Gentle, intelligent, and wonderfully intuitive, they have an extraordinary way of becoming part of the family rather than simply living alongside it.
Every WinterForest kitten begins with generations of thoughtful breeding.
Our Kings and Queens are carefully selected from renowned bloodlines, chosen not only for their pedigree and beauty, but for the health, temperament, and character that allow this remarkable breed to flourish for generations to come.
Raised cage-free as part of our everyday family life, our kittens grow up in the same kind of home they'll one day join. From the very beginning, they experience the sights, sounds, and routines of a busy household, helping them develop into confident, affectionate companions who settle naturally into family life. It is this attention to the little things—careful socialisation, balanced nutrition, and an unwavering commitment to continual learning—that makes a WinterForest kitten so much more than a beautiful pedigree cat.
Built for Family Life, Raised for Yours
One of the reasons the Siberian is often recommended as a first cat is its wonderfully balanced temperament. Calm without being timid, playful without being demanding, and deeply affectionate without being overly dependent, they adapt remarkably well to modern family living.
Whether you live in a small Singapore apartment, have young children, or share your home with a friendly dog, Siberians generally thrive when they are given companionship and included in everyday life. Because our kittens are raised in a similar environment from birth, the transition into their new homes is often a natural one.
Many families are also drawn to the breed because Siberians naturally produce lower levels of the Fel d 1 protein. While no cat can ever be completely hypoallergenic, choosing a Siberian can provide valuable peace of mind, helping reduce the possibility of having to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome a much-loved companion should allergies develop later in life.
Finding the Right Companion Starts with the Right Choice
Choosing a kitten is an important decision and we believe it should never feel rushed. Our role isn't simply to raise exceptional Siberian kittens —it's to help families understand the breed, answer their questions, and ensure they're bringing home a companion that truly suits their lifestyle.
If you're beginning your journey, we invite you to explore our Mews, where we share our experiences living with Siberians, caring for them, and preserving the breed we love. When you're ready, we'd be delighted to welcome you to WinterForest, introduce you to our cats, and help you discover whether a Siberian is the perfect companion for your family.A WinterForest Graduate makes a house a home.
At WinterForest, every kitten begins with a thoughtful and deliberate selection process.
Our Kings and Queens come from renowned bloodlines, chosen not just for pedigree but for the qualities that ensure the Siberian breed continues to flourish under our care
What truly sets WinterForest apart is the dedication to the finer details—socialization, nutrition, and the ongoing pursuit of excellence. From the very first days, our kittens are raised in a cage-free environment that nurtures confidence, resilience, and the affectionate temperament Siberians are so loved for.
Each generation reflects our passion for improving and refining the breed. We adopt the best practices available—always striving for healthier, stronger, and more extraordinary companions. This is why families often wait many months, sometimes up to a year, for a WinterForest kitten: because the difference is felt in every purr, cuddle, and lifelong bond that follows.
