Preparing for Your WinterForest Siberian
Thank you for considering WinterForest Siberians. Bringing home a pedigree kitten is far more than a purchase—it's the beginning of a relationship that may last 18 to 20 years. Our role is not simply to raise exceptional Siberian kittens in Singapore, but to help every family feel informed, prepared, and confident before welcoming one home.
The Real Investment Is Raising a Happy, Healthy Companion
One of the most common questions we receive is, "How much does it cost to own a Siberian?"
While the purchase price is a one-time investment, the real commitment is providing your companion with excellent care throughout their lifetime.
A typical monthly budget may include:
Food • Litter • Insurance • Grooming • Vet Care • Boarding
•
Food • Litter • Insurance • Grooming • Vet Care • Boarding •
Premium nutrition: approximately $350
Cat litter: approximately $50
Pet insurance: approximately $20
Routine veterinary care: approximately $50 (recommended monthly buffer)
Professional grooming:$80–300 when required
If you travel regularly, it's also worth planning for quality boarding or in-home care. Professional cat boarding in Singapore typically starts from around $80 per night, depending on the level of care provided.
These figures are intended as a guide and naturally vary between households, but planning ahead helps ensure your Siberian enjoys the standard of care they deserve.
Our Kitten Packages
A $500 priority fee is usually placed to secure a spot on the waitlist ( this is purely optional) and forms part of the $3,500 reservation deposit that secures your chosen kitten.
This goes towards the final package price.
Complete kitten packages generally range between $5,800 and $7,800, depending on the individual kitten and if you are on the reservation list.
Several factors influence where a kitten falls within that range, including:
Show potential and adherence to the Siberian breed standard
Colour and eye colour
Pedigree and planned breeding lines
Individual development and temperament
Registration, export, or special placement requirements
Our goal has never been to price kittens by rarity alone, but to match each family with the companion best suited to them.
Individuals on the waitlist and Current clients will get first pick of the litter.
Why We Accept Deposits Later
Unlike many breeders, we only begin accepting reservation deposits when our kittens are approximately 13 weeks of age .
By this stage, their personalities have begun to blossom, health assessments are more complete, and we have a much clearer understanding of each kitten's temperament and future potential.
Every WinterForest kitten is also veterinarian health-checked, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and sterilised before going home.
Although serious complications are uncommon, the earliest weeks of a kitten's life are naturally the most vulnerable for any domestic cat. Waiting until our kittens are older allows us to protect both their wellbeing and your emotional investment, giving families greater confidence when they finally reserve their companion.
A Relationship That Continues
Choosing a breeder is just as important as choosing a kitten.
Although our previous Google reviews were unexpectedly removed, we'd be delighted to introduce you to our WinterForest community. Many of our families are happy to share their experiences, and we're always pleased to provide references, testimonials, and introduce prospective owners to our graduates through Instagram.
One of the greatest compliments we receive is how often our families stay in touch. Watching our kittens grow, answering questions, celebrating milestones, and welcoming returning families has always been one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.
